that has helped TENS of THOUSANDS

of Catholic marriages get on the same page

by following the little way of St. Therese. ✨

"My prayer is to become more emotionally and spiritually connected with my husband."

There is a longing for deeper connection, even in faithful, Catholic marriages.

Distance, loneliness, negativity, criticism, fighting and arguments are all too common.

If you experience these or similar challenges, you are not alone!

Your relationship used to be so easy, fun and enjoyable...

...but now you feel disconnected: like you're not on the same page.

With the realities and responsibilities of daily life, raising kids, balancing work and home...

The connection — the spark — you used to enjoy is gone.

Or maybe you just feel like there must be MORE, wondering to yourself: Is this all? What’s next?

No matter where you are in your marriage, here’s the good news we want to share with you:

Doing little things with great love can open your marriage to the transformative power of God’s grace.

The example of St. Therese and her parents, Sts. Louis and Zelie Martin, can show you how!

What is the Little Way of Marriage?

This is a spiritual and practical roadmap to help your Catholic marriage, based on the spirituality of St. Therese of Lisieux.

St. Therese became one of the greatest saints by doing little things with great love.

St. Therese teaches us:

🌹 how to be other-centered

🌹 how to trust in God

🌹 how little actions done for other with great love can transform our lives (and the world!)

The Little Way of Marriage takes those powerful spiritual truths from St. Therese and shows you step-by-step how to appy them to your marriage.

Following this "little way" can open your marriage to more of the peace, joy and connection that God has in store for you!

Frequently Asked Questions

Will this workshop work for me?

YES! The spiritual insights from St. Therese will bring you closer to your husband or wife, and closer to God… but only if you put in the effort to actually DO the little things you will learn.

If you make the effort to take a few small steps — to do some little things — out of love for your husband or wife, you will emerge from the workshop more connected and more receptive to God’s grace in your Catholic marriage.

What if my husband or wife doesn't want to participate?

You can still do this!

In fact, one of the fundamental truths that we talk about is: you can only change yourself.

We show you how changing yourself for the better can change your marriage for the better. We give you suggestions and ideas for exactly how to do that throughout the workshop.

Please join us. Maybe this is exactly what you need.

Isn't St. Therese a nun? What can she teach me about marriage?

YES. St. Therese was, in fact, a cloistered Carmelite sister. The spiritual lessons of her “Little Way” helped her live out her vocation with great love and trust in God.

And those same spiritual lessons can help us in our Catholic marriages live out our vocation to which we have been called. Things like love, trust, humility, and other-centeredness can absolutely help us live holy and happy marriages!

How is this workshop different?

We give you a systematic, step-by-step approach.

Instead of overwhelming you with lots of different ideas going in lots of different directions (like so many conferences do!), the Little Way of Marriage workshop gives you a focused, realistic approach of doing
small things for your marriage with great love. And we tell you exactly which small things make the biggest difference!

We want to help your marriage make REAL and sustainable progress. So we encourage you to focus on little steps, one by one.

You’ll hear inspiring stories from St. Therese and her holy parents, Sts. Louis and Zelie Martin – pictured here, dancing together!.

By the end of the workshop, you’ll be convinced that a living a happy and holy Catholic marriage is possible!

Hello! We are Nathan and Sarah

Married 25 years, parents of 5 kids ages 5-21, leaders in Catholic marriage ministry

We know what it's like to feel overwhelmed, exhausted, alone, and resentful trying to keep up with the house, the kids, the job, and all the things.

We also know what it's like to reconnect and turn it all around.

We see the mystery of the Wedding at Cana unfold in our own life, as Jesus' grace touches and transforms our sacramental marriage into a source of abundantly flowing joy, peace, and love.

Whether you want to cut criticism, negativity, and fighting out of your marriage, get on the same page with your communication, or you just know that God has something more for you in your marriage and you're not sure how to get there, you're in the right place.

Sarah holds a Ph.D. in Theology from the Catholic University of America. She wrote her dissertation on the family life of St. Therese and her parents, Sts. Louis and Zelie Martin.

Nathan earned an M.A. in Catholic Philosophy from the Catholic University of America, where he focused on virtue ethics and wrote his thesis on “the Productive Household.”

Together, we have served in marriage preparation and marriage enrichment ministry in our parish and diocese for over 10 years. We have also been speakers, columnists, and radio hosts.
